Our heart is to partner with parents to train their kids in the way they should go.

Discipline Policy

(Proverbs 22:6) Please identify the types of behaviors in kids and handle the situations accordingly. Discipline Procedures will be specific to each classroom.

  • To help you identify where the behavior is coming from, ask the child if they understood why they made the choice they did. Their response will help you determine the category of behavior.

  • If it is rebellion, help them recognize the behavior, and then correct or discipline them according to the discipline policy.

  • If it is immaturity or a mistake, bring an explanation to the child of what they did and discuss why it is inappropriate and how to correct it. Give them instruction.

  • Be sure we are only disciplining rebellion. If a discussion has been had about a mistake or immature action and the child continues with the same behavior, reminding them disobeying will be disciplined.

  • If you notice consistent behavior issues or emotional issues with a specific child please communicate that information to your children's pastor.
